1024 DDR1 RAM
NVidia 6200 LE 256 MB DDR2 graphics unit ( 263 million vertices / sec )
when would this have been a really desirable gaming machine ? to make people drool ....

The nVidia 6000 series was 2005 technology, but the 6200 would have trouble outdoing most of the cards from the previous generation, so we're talking 2004. However, back in 2004 dual-core was practically non-existent, and having a gig of RAM was pretty rare, so in early 2004 it'd've been a pretty competent machine, but still not exactly drool-worthy. Call it 2002, back in the early and pre-GHz days.
