Why on EARTH would you partition an 80 Gig HDD into FIVE partitions ?? That's the weirdest idea I have ever heard (apart from naming your child Moon Unit of course).
Unless you have the right software, you will not be able to modify your partition layouts without losing the data on the drive anyway, so it may be a better idea to go out and get a larger drive, copy all your data across onto that, and then reformat your 80 gig and use it as a single partition drive for keeping your mp3 files on, or also buy a cheap caddy for it and use it as a portable drive you can take with you to your friends house to share files.....
Just be careful, or you could lose all your files.
Good luck !!

I recommend getting a new hard drive. There is no reason that you should be dealing with an 80 gig hard drive with cost of hard drives where it is today. Go buy you self at least a 160, and then just copy the entire drive over and you won't have to worry about storage space.
Why do you need 5 partitions anyway? Do you have 4 seperate systems installed?

Try only two partition, one for OS and the other for back-up, to many partition is confusing to your computer to locate file in five partition and make your computer to work slow to open a particular file. Just think its hard to find an object in five different room than looking only for two room.
I hope it helps!

To work with partitions use "Partition Magic" by Acronis. With this you can remove partitions and resize partitions and copy partitions. Five does seem excessive, and two is prob'ly better, but it depends what you want to do.

I am not shure how to delete partitions but disksweeper is the best disk defragmentor out there. And the less partitions you have, the better

Why would you have 5 partitions? Ntfs or fat is the norm...do you have more then one operating system on it? If not, you do not need the additional partitions.

truthfully you likely do no longer decide directly to apply RAID. seem for the plugs interior your computing device that tournament up with the hot drives, and make beneficial that each and one and all of switches on your new drives are set to "slave". There 2 important forms of recent no longer common force plug, so a number of them might want an adapter. power off your device and plug interior the hot drives, shield them interior the case, and turn the device back on. If the drives got here with a CD placed that in the time of, if no longer you're able to might desire to look up the drives on line in the event that they do no longer artwork immediately.
