It was on FOX News this morning. Madonna and Brittany need to either convert or die. At least according to the leader of some terrorist group in Palestine.

But yet liberals seem to think we can negoiate with these people!

What do you think about this?

To Bruce J, I hear Brittany is in need of a negoiator. You seem like you would be great for the job. You should apply.

Ya'll asked for links, but the only one available is www.foxnews.com. The story is in a video on the right side of the page with Kavuto. It is rather interesting.

Finally, Showtunes, give a view of this video and think about your really ignorant answer. It would make no difference if we totally ignored this trash. They would still want to kill us because we are not Muslim, the Religion of Peace.

These are intolerant people. You liberals should despise them for their intolerance. Why don't you?

You CAN NOT negotiate with rabid dogs, angry rattlesnakes, or any religious fanatic, regardless of where, when, why, or how.
At best, you would be waisting your time, and in the case of those in the middle east, any negotiating would serve the purpose of tying up the time of that other person, so he would not be out killing others. Well, maybe he might choose to kill the negotiating "team" !!!!
MADONNA and BRITTANY ?? Those two would be " lovely candidates to send to Iraq, and let them prance around in the NEAR NUDE !!!???? COULD THE FANATICS REALLY DO THE WORLD A FAVOR ?????

I think there are too many morons in this country who assume that
A: all terrorists are alike, (false, many groups can't stand each other)
B: all agree 100% with each other, (false, see above)
C: alll are willing to be suicide bombers (false, if that were true, there wouldn't be any left)
D: all terrorists want to destroy America (false, most fighters want a specific, regional goal to be met)
E: all muslims who oppse us are terrorist (depends on your definition. The Sunni tribes fighting us in Anbar were terrorists, now they're allies. Funny how quick our definitions change)

Sure, you will never get hard-corps al Qaida to negotiate, but there are thousands of people who are fighting us that have joined for many reasons. They were poor and needed the money, they were bored, they don't like the regime we are supporting, they have been told lies about us, whatever. The point is that these people may or may not listen to us, but there is no a priori reason to assume they would not.

We spent billions during the Cold War winning the hearts and minds or the world, in order to convince the people that our side was right. Our efforts in the war on terror have been ridiculously uncoordinated and underfunded. The US should have dozens, even hundreds of Arabic blogs, radio shows, and it should fly Muslim US citizens (regular middle class muslims) on speaking tours around the middle east by the hundreds. We need to quadruple the budget of the Peace Corps, and send as many around to Muslim countries as we can. And, we need to stop supporting dictators just because they say they'll "fight terror" with us (I'm looking at you Musharaff and Mubarak).

Why bother you say? Because without grass roots support terror will dry up. And it is a lot cheaper to spend 50 bucks on some books and audio tapes to convince a 16 year old kid not to become a hirabi than it costs to kill him later with a 1.5 million dollar cruise missile.

Well Britt & Mad are both pets of the liberal left so how about we send the two of them over their to do the negotiating for the rest of us? I mean Hollywood thinks they know so much, they prop up their peers all the time to speak out against any and all things that those on the right disagree with them about. Hell, Micheal Moore can be their body gaurd against the loving and compasionate crow that will be there to recieve them.

Which terrorist group? A massive, powerful organization that has some say in how all other Middle Eastern militia groups are run, or a small group so insignificant it's merely referred to as "some terrorist group"?

And which Liberals supposedly think you can negotiate with that very group in particular (let alone any terrorist group), or are you under the assumption that all terrorist groups have the same goals and philosophy?

We need sources! Prove your assertions!

But otherwise, I think it's entertaining! Nice of them to watch Western celebrities, I say.

The jihadists are people the likes of which this world has never truly grasped yet. The combination of an unbelievable persecution complex and insane fundamentalism makes them people that CAN'T be negotiated with.

Will a lib ever acknowledge it's their value system and moral structure the fundies hate?

They love to harp about America's foreign policy when in fact it is their Mecca, Hollywood, every terrorist worth his skullcap preaches out against.

We might have had a chance at talking if we hadnt been giving them weapons to kill us with for the past 50+ years....

Now lets give weapons to the Sunnis in Iraq! Im sure they wont even consider shooting us, theyre our best friends...wait, didnt we go to war in Iraq to dispose of them and their gov't?

Sorry, but thanks to our piss poor foreign policy since the end of WWII we have no choice. If we stop giving them weapons today then theyll just suddenly start using the same weapons that are used in Darfur--Chinese variants of the AK. We cant defeat them in a traditional sense, and our army cant really fight in any other way. Its the curse of being the one in power in an offensive war.

We've bungled this to the point that we cant stop it. We cant just kill all the terrorists, it doesnt work that way. We have to start working on talking with people. Then we can start educating people and getting them to accept rather than just trying violence that is going nowhere.

You can negotiate if you will lay down your arms and bow toward Mecca and call God some crescent moon god name, Allah.

Madonna and Brittany are a disgrace to the USA, but they are our disgrace and they are our shameful women. It is our job to try to make them decent and not any other country.
