I can't believe no Dems have come out to say that moveon.org's ad had gone too overboard. I guess it shows who runs the dems.

Sort of...NYT has back tracked their first response of all ads are $165K when first asked...now that it's become news they are willing to state a bit further that a big discount is given if the ad is placed but can run at anytime. Is that better? That means the editors of the NYT deliberately placed the ad on the day the general was to speak! Moveon.org is unique to say the least but I find it fascinating that the same tactics they use are the same ones condemned when right leaning groups use them. Hence when Clinton doesn't denounce the tactics by Moveon but does when an other group uses it she shows her hypocrisy.

Giuliani might have been better of just attempting to place an ad and if the NYT refused...the story would carry more punch.

it sounds like the Daily news have their agenda setting on too, here is why

"In one of the more transparent stunts of the 2008 presidential race, " That's opinion, and it's called agenda setting because they believe it and put it in their paper, now people accept it as part of the story when it isn't.

I'm sure Dems on here will support them, because they have shown they don't have much integrity at least some of the people on here, but come on if it were a candidate I was backing and they made a 5th grade comment in a newspaper, I wouldn't be supporting that candidate, I don't get how people think that's OK to slander people, and then call it free speech, that's a real problem.

I'm not trying to persuade anyone because there are on here would vote for Hillary if she murdered someone, they don't care about character and integrity they just care about their agenda and politics and that's scary that there are people like that out there, for any politician.

Morning back at ya, Sweets. Yes, Giuliani did the right thing. If not him, then who? The New York Times, Hillary Clinton, and moveon.org would get away with murder if SOMEONE didn't stand up to the plate, and nail them for their lying attempt at the manipulation of the uneducated!

That's no overreaction, it was brilliant. If the New York Times Bimbo, excuse me, spokeswoman, quoted says that the ad was cheaper beacuse the Times got to pick what day it ran, I'd be happy to call her a lying lowlife, right to her face. So, the rest of us are supposed to believe that it was "sheer coincidence" that the Times ran this dispicable ad on the morning that General Petraeus was to address the do-nothingcrats in Congress. Well, here's a clue; I was born at night but it wasn't last night! I think that the New York Times is suffering from literary "Hoof and Mouth Disease". Every time one of those idiots from the Times opens their mouth, they shove a (donkey)hoof in it.

NOPE

If Hillary can't slam moveon.org she opens herself to others to hold her accountable.

Along with Obama and Edward ( who 1st try to claim he didn't see or hear about the ad)

Face it the DNC are the lap dogs of moveon.org.

He did the right thing...If the parties had been reversed... the Special Interest mantra would have already been chanted to the point of ridiculous.

Attacking propaganda sites is just picking the low hanging fruit. Instead of talking about real issues, candidates would rather grandstand and/or take cheap shots at each other.

Just toeing the party line. I beg Rudy to try personal attacks...his closet is so full of skeletons that Jimmy Hoffa might be hiding in there somewhere
