I work with morons. Some days they annoy me to the point that I want to strangle them. Since I can't do that I usually end up in a horrible mood with a killer headache. Any tips for this that don't include quitting or violence?

Say goosfraaaba goooosfraba 10 times. Then tell them they are anoying and tell em to leave you alone. Then annoy them as much as they annoyed you so they will get a taste of their own medicine and leave you alone. If that doesnt work then buy them a gift or something so they will leave you alone. Then if that doesnt work, complain about it to your boss and he will have a talk with them. Then if they continue to annoy you, make a last stand bring a baseball bat in the next day, tell your boss you quit because of them, and then hit them with it and smash there office windows and phone and computer. GOOD luck and I hope this helped.

Yup, there are morons all over the place - LOL! What do we do? Well, we certainly do not permit them to get to us. We have the power inside to control this.

You must calm your thoughts and body. Become disciplined in listening and at the same time not absorbing what the 'morons' are saying. It can be done. Whenever your thoughts become agitated, immediately change them. Think of something pleasant, interesting, and throw yourself into your work.

Here are a few of mine, and believe me I have to use them frequently.
Take a break.
Take deep breaths.
Do some stretching shoulders, ankles, arms at your desk to relieve tension. Roll your eyes!
Rub your temples.
Turn on some music.
Turn on a fan.
Have a picture of someone/something you love to look at so you can be quickly reminded why you are doing this!
Cause a distraction.
Phone a friend.
Get on Yahoo Answers and escape for a few minutes.
Think about happy hour at 5pm!

seriously meditate. getting yourself away on a 15 and meditating about life without those morons helps. Here's the trick. Don't meditate or immagin them calmer or still there. you need to imagin life whithout them. maybe all the meditation will make them all leave. stranger things have happened.

walk away, take a restroom or watercooler break and slowly calm yourself by closing your eyes and counting to 20...kind of a minute meditation....just stay relaxed.
