Yes we can, or we can orgasm without ejaculating. They do not always go hand in hand.

when masturbating I am able to ejaculate 2-3 separate times or more depending on how aroused I get before the final big orgasm. I do whats called "edging" where you bring yourself right to the brink of orgasm but then stop and let yourself calm down a little. I do this as many times as I can handle before I am so aroused that I have to finish. This usually results in ejaculation but no orgasm since I have stopped stimulating myself. When the orgasm does happen it's mind blowing and you would think that after ejaculating 2-3 times already that there wouldn't be much ejaculation with the orgasm but it's usually way more than normal. I know this is TMI but you asked how it was possible.
I do not do this with actual intercourse though. I can sometimes pull of one extra ejaculation before I orgasm but they are usually pretty close together.

Yeah-- if you are viewing the orgasm as the overall mental/physical sensation. A guy, especially ones that masterbate a lot, may fully ejaculate with little or no sensation other than the pumping action of the ejaculate, and miss out on the whole body sensation of orgasm. There is a difference.

True, but the opposite is more fun, orgasming without ejaculating. The body is a wonderful thing, people should use it more.

1. the prostrate is the carrier of of ejucalate,
2. if removed (cancer) the testes (balls) still produce sperm
3. it(sperm) does not have a "carrier' for it to get out of the
body -- but the male still has an orgasm -- just not sperm
is deposited from the penis

yup men can ejaculate without having an orgasm especially during sleep (and thats when their body produces loadz of sperms and they havent had sex for a while...

we men are very unique. when we dont have an orgasim for a long time. the sperm builds up and at night we have nocturnl emission which means seman just pours out and lets it loose.
