Hahahaha
I did the same thing...a few times. I could never wait either.
I never had a problem.

If you've had an episiotomy then it could tear or get infected, if not then you should be fine. They tell you not to have sex because you are healing and everything is going back to normal, also the tears that you can't see inside your uterus are healing up and thats what can get infected. But me and my gf had sex two weeks after our baby was born and she is fine, we just took it slow. Also there is a greater chance of getting pregnant right after having a baby, so thats another reason they tell you to sustain from sex, so just be sure to wear a condom or some other form of contraception, or you might have a surprise at the 40 day check up!.

Whether you give birth vaginally or by C-section, your body will need time to heal. Many doctors recommend waiting six weeks before resuming intercourse. This allows time for the cervix to close, postpartum bleeding to stop, and any tears or repaired lacerations to heal.
But the other important timeline is your own. Some women feel ready to resume sex within a few weeks of giving birth. Others need more time.
Did you go through labor? If not and you did not suffer any trauma to the vaginal tract your lower risk.
Discuss this with your physician. He/she hears this every day. Congrats on the new baby.

that's no longer many times a demonstration of being pregnant. and if there is blood in it, which would be a foul sign if she's pregnant. i would not worry approximately it, even with the shown fact that. that's merely been 2 weeks considering you had intercourse and a brilliant form of circumstances, females conceive in those first few weeks, yet then they have their era like ordinary, and the toddler is going with it. it is why being pregnant exams continuously say to attend a week after the 1st ignored era.

They don't tell you to wait bc of the risk of infection, it's bc of the trauma that your vaginal walls have just endured from labor and delivery. The reason they tell you to wait is so that you give your body ample to time to heal correctly, instead of doing further damage to yourself. Hope this helps!!

When my wife had our first baby, there was a man in the waiting room with me who had 6 kids already. I asked him how soon after your wife had given birth can you have sex. He said it depends on whether she has a public or private ward :-)

I can't see it being a problem. You know when you're ready and if there is any issues down there you need to worry about.
It does, of course, depend on whether you tore or not.
If you have a midwife talk to her (or him) about it - they know you and your delivery.
Keep an eye on it. If you notice any soreness, swelling, strange odour, itching, or unusual heat down there. Get your self to your doc.
