Hi...I am setting up a wireless network for 5 laptop users using the same internet service. the internet is of 2mbps..is this router good for all 5 users sharing internet within the same flat?

It should work fine. Set up security so that others can't share for free though. Personally I usually just setup MAC addresses and set the router to only talk to approved devices.

As long as it is encrypted for security purposes. You should also change the password or passwords every few months for extra security.
