Prejudice is when you have a grudge against somebody...something like that. It's like you have already judged the person without getting to know him/her.

Generally speaking, it's an adverse (or disobliging) reaction to something or someone taken without regard or knowledge of the facts.
It's being ignorant about a thing but acting as if you know, and as if the thing were wrong, disgusting or in some other way beneath you.
It's usually a mistake to be prejudiced.
