buy a really expensive dress (ex. $450) and only wear it once, or not even at all!?

Thats crazy...I can't imagine spending that much on a dress and only wear it once. (Minus for a wedding) Often if someone bought a dress for that much, it was because its required wear for a wedding or other special event or they're very fashion oriented. Most of the dresses I've gotten in my life I've only worn once or twice (like weddings, prom and homecoming, funerals etc).
Plus, I can think of many other things to spend $450 that are more important than a dress. (provided its not a wedding of course) I'd rather use the money in savings. Plus theres a lot of better things it could be used on, food, bills, clothing, gas etc.

Never done it never will. I could do a months food shopping for that or buy something big like a tv, washer. I have no use for people with so much money they have to waste it.

I am a woman who would NEVER do that. I could buy so much with $450.00. I think it's a waste.
