So we know all the information thats pointing towards the McCanns guilt but could someone tell me what evidence/information supports the abduction theory?

I think in order to form an educated opinion on this case we need to know what if any evidence supports the McCanns story

So from your answers the supporting evidence fromt he abduction theory is miniscule compared to the other evidence that has been portrayed.
I asked this question so that everyone could see the evidence of both sides of the case and make up their minds accordingly.

There is very little evidence to support the abduction theory. In fact, no HARD evidence at all.

I would love to read a complete list of ALL the evidence against the McCanns. Some of it does not seem to be very well known eg. body fluids from the little girl having been found in the boot of the car they hired 25 days AFTER Maddie disappeared AND 15 bottles of wine in their apartment bedroom. Also the fact that the PJ-GNR police had for some time under survaillence a yatch belonging to an acquaintance of the McCanns which the PJ-GNR suspect was used to take little Maddie out to sea inside a sack with stones and sunk. The best press to read about the case is the Portuguese press. So much more objective.
Finally, if the McCanns are innocent and have such a strong case, then why are they making an American type case out of their case and are now being financed by millionaire owner of Virgin Atlantic Sir R. Branson and other millionaires too? Let's remember that in the USA there isn't a single millionaire on death row. So those two are going to get away with it.

Here are a few:

1. There was at least a 30 minute window in which someone could have entered the unlocked apartment and taken her. This may be longer, if we are to believe that the parent who last checked on her (not McCanns) only listened at the door.

2. The police were slow to alert ports, giving someone a chance to take her overseas.

3. A man was reportedly seen carrying a child in a blanket.

4. The McCanns and other families had been leaving their children alone this way all week long (and this happened on the Thursday) - ample opportunity for someone watching to clock their habits and plan an abduction.

The problem with abduction is that no one really notices anything - a person walking round a family holiday resort with a child is not going to attract much attention. When children disappear through abduction, evidence is very difficult to find, eye-witness reports are often the only evidence available and in Madeline's case, there have been several such reports.

It is hard to accept but the reality is, we may never know who took Madeline or whether she's dead or alive. As far as evidence against the McCann's goes, this is full of holes - even if DNA evidence found in the hire-car is Madeline's (which so far is only an 88% positive match), it's not unlikely that the car was previously hired by Madeline's abductor, who could possibly have used sleeping tablets to drug the child. We have to take into account the fact that this car was hired by the McCann's 25 days after their daughter's disappearance.

The evidence in favour of the abduction theory is the amount of friends, involved prior to and at the time Madeline disappeared - wouldn't they have noticed something, if (as has been widely suggested), either one of the McCann's had inadvertantly killed their daughter that same evening? As a parent myself, I could not imagine my child dying and then an hour or so later, to be sat with friends having dinner in a relaxed and amicable manner!

We know Mrs McCann is a devout Catholic, could such a person really be capable of seeking a blessing from the Pope and payers for the return of Madeline, knowing full-well that she had caused her daughter's death?

As for Mr McCann he was seen chatting in a friendly manner with a friend just outside their appartment, not long before Madeline was discovered missing - again, is it likely that he is capable of performing such an act after he'd just killed his daughter?

We're talking about professional people here and more than that, loving parents; professional or otherwise, loving parents would find it extremely difficult to hide their grief and emotions after the death of their child.

It would be different if the McCann's were drug or alcohol addicts, if they were reknown for their poor parenting skills, if they were prone to beating or neglecting their children; in these circumstances, suspicion would be acceptable, but given the facts that the McCann's have the full and continued support of close family & friends, who have all stated that the McCann's were loving, caring parents, we have to accept that it's unlikely they'd be psycholigically & emotionally capable of performing such an intense and on-going public charade.

There isn't any "evidence". Just what the McCanns say which cannot be classed as reliable as they have already been caught out lying about not drugging the children.

in case you talk approximately the completed implications of alien alien deliver's, the witness testimony and scarce photographic imagery (the present mainstream time-honored foundation) are actually not so improbable. in case you look on Fox information Video, there's a scientist engaged on a ability thank you to transmit suggestion back by using time. different sober scientists speculate a pair of destiny wherein people would desire to genetically engineer any style of physique they desire to have, and get carry of their minds into new bodies and for that reason gain immortality. Do you think of vacationing extraterrestrial beings would have invented that already? would desire to they effect public opinion concerning their life or nonexistence with a minimum of as lots skill as a secretive human enterprise? If there's a bite of impossibly dense aluminum foil at MIT supposedly from the Roswell crash, or an recovered implant made out of pseudomatter at yet another college (as i've got heard that there is), that could nonetheless make no distinction to maximum human beings committed to their disbelief. 20 years in the past there have been books by ability of Budd Hopkins suggested as "lacking Time" and "Intruders" that would desire to have raised the wide-unfold public's alert point interior the direction of the roof, as particular factors raised in Howard Menger's e book from the 50's. The wholesale write-offs by ability of critics of those total works have been understandably concern-based reactions, or a minimum of time-honored by ability of the wide-unfold public by ability of reason of the comparable. human beings truly won't be in a position to deal with the actuality. you are able to examine those works for your self and spot what you think of. the super photograph of all of it isn't surprisingly and my own anecdotal contributions do no longer make it lots greater ideal, apart from the biblical attitude.

Has anyone asked why the Mccanns have not undergone a lie detector test or at least volunteered themselves for it? If they are so adamant they are innocent they should be asking, no demanding, to do one.... just a thought...

The McCanns should have been investigated straight away and eliminated early during the investigations. Once that's done, then the only thing left is abduction.

That did not happened. The police backtracked on something they should have done first, and now no-one is looking for Madeleine, and that I find appalling!

The evidence is coming from peoples hearts and i think some refuse to look at the cold hard facts of the case.

look to statistics in the world when a child goes missing; most times it is the parents especially in this circumstance where they were doping their children; known fact that they left not one child alone but 3 , all small children; they weren't drug addicts who left them alone for a drug fix; they were confident that their children were drugged and unable to leave ; unfortunately, I believe that something went sour; overdose or allergic reaction to the medication; heart failure etc and then the cowards worried about their own necks and losing the other 2 decided the unthinkable; I have 4 children and no way could I leave without my daughter , my backside would be camped out on the police station putting pressure on them to find my child; I would have spent every penny already on investigators combing every inch ; I would have organized search parties etc; but then I never doped up my kids for my fun
