Select all sheet, go to format cells options, select protection tab, and remove protected option.

Select all cells with formulas and go to the same place as before and turn on protection.

Hide all colums or rows that have cells with formulas ( cant see any other option on how to do that)

Go to Tools>Protection>Protect sheet, turn on everything except " select protrcted cells", insert password.

Done :)

i hope it helped.

Jaime hit it right on the money. By default, all of the Excel spreadsheet cells are set to be protected when the worksheet is protected. First you have to format all of the cells on the sheet so that all of them are unprotected except for the ones you want protected. The easiest way to do that is to unprotect all of the cells on the worksheet, then go back and protect the cells you want protected. To do that select all of the cells on the worksheet by clicking the little grey box where the column and row headings come together (between A and 1). Then select:

Format > Cells...

Then click the Protection tab and uncheck Locked and click OK.

Then go back and select the cells you want to protect and do the same thing except make sure that Locked is checked.

Then go to:

Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet...

Then type in your password and what all you want to prevent other people from doing to those protected cells and click OK.
