This is the first time that Dhoni is a captain. And captaincy is all different than batting. So we actually need to wait and watch in T20 how efficient he is as a captain.

First of all the 35+ men i.e Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman should retire or be sacked as this old age in not for playing international cricket. They are playing on just to make money!
And Tests and 50 over matches are soon going to be history so Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni be made captain and vice-captain for India respectively! Only they are suitable in the modern 20-20s!

I think dhomi is the right one.
If it is the reason that he hasn't done any captainsi any time then it would be a lame excuse.
Because a wicket-keeper is always the closest of captain and the keeper always look after the field settlement.
But I am waiting to see the strategy of playing under the captainsi of dhoni.

I strongly feel that he is not matured enough to take up the fcaptaincy of Indian Team. A lot will depend upon his performance as Captain in the Twenty/20 tournament. I strongly feel that Cricket Board will go back to Ganguly as captain due to sudden decision of Dravid to step down.

as he is not in good form at present,he needs to concentrate on his batting and fielding.records of the past can't help u with ur present.so,dhoni is not fit to captain right now.

no , the selectors planed to through out dhoni from indian team that's why they select DHONI as captain...........

Yes. But we have also more option like Yuvraj Singh , Ajit Agarkar and Viredra sehwag.
But as he is much attrective and best keeper.
He got this oppourtunity.

Yes but only in ODIs and twenty-20s but not in tests.In tests it should be V.V.S.Laxman.
