He sent them to Iraq without adequate supplies and, to this day, can not explain why they are there. Leaving them without the where-with-all to survive is consistent with his pattern of activity, or more properly, inactivity.

politics politics politics its all a game to score points! . The BS piles up so high on capitol hill you could make a pyramid out of it!..Congress is full of hot air load mouths and time wasters.. But even they know that soldiers and soldiers families have votes too..
I don't think anyone is really suggesting leaving troops without adequate equipment and supplies..its just politics!!
Bush will leave office and the next administration will have to decide what to do with the troops.. The conflict in Iraq is a long way from being over!

I just saw a question from a liberal saying that Dennis Kucinch was right to want to cut off funds to the troops and others agreeing with him and now you are saying that if Bush did the same thing it would be terrible. So what do y'all really want.

Apparently you don't even listen to your own representatives. Funding is available with out additional funding, to supply the troops for over a year. Do you really think the president and the pentagon would put the security of the country solely in the hands of Congress? You Libs never even bother to find out how your government operates!

No. That's crazy talk.
If supplies are cut, he'll have to recall them. They won't be left there to fight with sticks and stones. That's just preposterous. Cutting funding would just tie the President's hands. (And that would be the idea).
I know there's a good amount of bashing going on, but come on. Does anybody really believe that?

I think that is why Congress won't stop the funding; they are afraid that the pres would just leave our troops hanging out to dry instead of bringing them back to safety. I'm not saying he would, but there is that possibility with this bunch.

If our troops ran low on supplies, it wouldn't be Bush doing it out of spite. Incompetence maybe, but not spite.

I'm one of those in Iraq and I would stay here with no supplies just to get the job done. I'm also honest with myself and I know part of me would stay here just to spite you sick psychopathic, left-wing, nut job tree-huggers! You make me sick!
