This can be an unpleasant experience if held in hostile conditions, or a pleasant one, if held by someone who drives your senses wild. So to be released into the wild in this sense, is very inviting .
Also to be held in captivity by mutual consent, is to play a certain kind of game.
So, you should be released into the wild from whence you will not wish to return...;)))))

You should first re-evaluate the reality of your captivity and the role of wildness in that captivity. Cognitive and social manifestations of wildness excess are the only things that can hold a Mind captive. Only the Mind can free itself from most kinds of captivity, and, by Opening its Phenomenal Eye to sharpening experience, release itself from its blindness trap. To be wild is to lack individualization sufficient for self-visualization and individual realization, and to be captive is to lack civilization sufficient for Worldview de-realization and subsequent perceptual reality reconstruction.
Is the wildness excess that is holding you captive mostly inside of you or outside of you?
(1) If you are excessively wild inside, then your inner world holds you captive to the unsharpened and myopic Eye which does not allow your Mind outside of your Phenomenal Eye's Worldview.
(2) If you can be wild only outside of your Eye's view, then you are captive to the Eye and the pupil fear that signals a false threat or danger of your Eye's Power. Fear not your own Power; wildness is Power that requires Discipline when exercised inwardly or else it overpowers the lids of the Mind, forces shut the Eye, and holds the Mind captive to fear of its own Power. Individualization leads to civilization which facilitates individualization. If you learn to release only enough and not more wildness than that which is sufficient for the individualization and thereby the civilization of the Eye, then your Mind can release itself from its captivity to the inner wildness, by cultivating an Open and Beautiful Eye.
(3) If it is the wildness excesses outside of you, and the rough ways of society, which hold you captive, then even greater is the need for you to struggle as effort-fully as you can to fearlessly exercise your inner Power.
In my case, I feel surrounded by the wildness excess; it is both inside and outside of me, and I ceaselessly struggle with it because it persists its effort to hold me captive, and I refuse to surrender to it, and so still am confronting wildness excess as far as I can.
