My husband showed me a website last night that said Laws for all 52 States. We had been talking about this last week, that some people think Hawaii and Alaska makes 52 States in the United States. THERE ARE ONLY 50 States!!! I couldn't believe that some people think there are 52. There are 48 continental States, then Hawaii and Alaska makes 50. DUH. How can some people think there are 52. It's a sad reflection on society when most people in America can't even point to the United States on a map, and they think there are 52 States.

There have been 50 states as long as I have been alive and I also learned that in school...
Some people are surely not getting a good education out there...

Nope, I learned that there were 50 states when I was 6-7.
BTW, what was the website that said 52?

There are territories that are proposing statehood. Maybe the site was including those?
