take her to emergency so they can give an antidote and reverse the effects of the paracetamol as it can cause permanent liver and kidney damage.

The normal maximum dose for this pain medication per day is 65 mg/kg or 4 grams per day whichever is less. Chances are that 10 tablets will not cause serious harm in the long term, HOWEVER, to be safe: get your friend to vomit and call 911 and explain what happened. Overdose of this med. is serious and can be fatal from liver toxicity, killing about 1% of those who seek treatment due to the delayed effects.
Call for help. Your friend will need some counseling regardless. Good luck and God bless.
