as an Englishman who has just returned this morning from the USA on business i must ask this.
I am returning to the USA on business this afternoon and i was wondering if they sell pies in the USA.I love a nice Pukka or Ginsters pie, but i have never been able to find any in the USA.Do Americans have problems with pie shortages or is it simply that they have EATEN ALL THE PIES.
Can any Americans confirm they have EATEN ALL THE PIES

Yes we do! But I have never heard of Pukka or Ginsters pie. We have good ones though, lemon, pumpkin, apple, peach, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and my favorite cherry pie. No, we have not eaten them all. Check with a bakery or as has been mentioned Marie Callender's pies at the grocery store.

Do you have your head up your ****? I mean you say you were in the US on business, (are prostitutes not cheap enough for you in Soho?), and yet you never saw any pies over here! As an Englishman living in the USA you sir, disgust and disappoint me. I expect better from a fellow Englishman and your lack of awareness for other cultures is quite frankly shoddy and rudimentary at best. Englishmen once ruled above all others where our tiny but proud island was a bastion of enlightenment, decency and honour. You have none of these positive qualities and it pains me to say but you sir are a buffoon!

Check out 'Marie Callender's' brand. They also make 'regular' pies.

We call them 'pot pies' here in the States. They are not as popular in some spots as others, but Marie's brand is the best frozen pot pie I've ever had. You will, of course, need access to an oven to properly bake it, but it can be microwaved.

There are many restaurants that serve them as well. Go to a restaurant web search of the city you are in and type in 'pot pie'.

Good luck.

Making a good pie just doesn't pay for most restaurants. (crust is labor intensive) Some do have a nice chicken pie but it's not that usual. When in Rome; have a cheeseburger.

I have seen the news and they have eaten all the pies.

I'm not too sure about pies but they have quite a few puddings.
