I regret a good job I passed up a long time ago that wouldn't have even taken that long, but would have been fun and right up my alley...
What I miss in my life now is only a truck I have my eye on... silly, huh?
But I am content with most things as they are; the view from my porch, the peace of my home, the happiness my kid is finding at the end of her schooling, and my one or two good friends, as well as the elderly I like to help and whose stories I find fascinating and well worth time taken for listening.

I regret not preparing my son more for the "Real World". Now that he is out there, he does not seem to know what to do with it, and I know he does not want my help anymore.

I regret that I wasn't kinder to people. From the perspective of where I am in my life now, I can see that I was too judgemental as a youth. That was stupid. It turns out that people have value even if you don't agree, or don't even like them.
