A few weeks back I got a single email from a user I did not recognise saying "I think I am in love with you".
I thought it was a wind up, but then got several other emails from this person saying "You are beautiful" etc. The weirdest one was "I want to lick you"
After about 5 emails, I replied to see what their story was and never heard back.
Anyone else had any similar stories?

I can outweird anyone.
The easiest way to get rid of that kind of attention is to accurately describe myself .... I was telling them at work a few months ago and the cook couldn't believe that I would tell them the truth so graphically.
I'm 41, grey hair, rotten teeth, 24 stones (I was the last time I did this), have big feet, a huge red blister on my leg, wear very thick glasses and walk with a limp.
I never hear from them again ..... hee hee hee.

I answered a question once that said "Would Anyone Like To Kick Me In The Nuts", I thought it was a joke so I answered yes and then this guy starts emailing me asking me if he paid me would I kick him in the nuts... When I emailed back saying no he continued emailing me offering money... It was freaky!! He eventually stopped.. I guess it was some sort of sexual fantasy or something.. Eww

not really,cuz i only make a few friends on here and i only really answer the questions from hte people on my contacts and fans list now,so ive only had like 1 or 2 weird e mails

Absolutely, a few of these things happened to me via email or YM and the senders have been regularly blocked! The best was, as you said, someone who said he loved me (first YM message) on the basis of my avatar! Another chap from Egypt said he wanted to come to see me in Vienna, where I lived and I had never talked to him before!!
How pathetic!!

Yes so stopped aloowing emails!!
Did start accepting e-mails again (for 2 about days) cause I find some people really funny, but others just ruin it!!

Yes, when I first joined this site I stupidly put my email address on for all to see, some sick idiot thought it really funny to send me disgusting messages and even downloaded porn, now I no longer have my email address on YA for fear of creeps like him emailing me again.

Yes. I was touched that a teenage girl was infatuated. It was a tricky situation, not wanting to encourage her and not wanting to be mean. I ended up just ignoring them. A bit mean, but better all round.
"I love you". What do you say. I suppose they might have been sarcastic, but hey-ho.

my hubby got a terrorist that was trying to get together a group of crazies to do some mission in Texas. We tried to report to the FBI and Y!A and neither took it serious. but the guy sent many creepy emails and he'd watch your answers 1st to see your political views. Creepy/

if you go to my profile, you can change the settings to so you do not receive any messages via this place...i have had lots of weird messages posted to me, like someone asked me how i got all my points, another wrote me a really nasty message, i know who she is and so does she...so i blocked her, you can block them by putting the cursor over their avatar and it will say block this person....or better still....just don't read any messages unless you know who they are from.....delete them and block them...
