I love all kinds of monkeys and would love to be in a setting where you could get up close to them. Do you know of any places near you where this is possible? Research facilities or zoos or sanctuaries? thanks!

Here in Germany there are several parks, like in Düsseldorf, where they have free-roaming monkeys. I don't think I'd want to get too close to them. They bite, steal things like purses or sunglasses, and they throw feces.

Pl. check in your area (I am in Hyderabad, India and we have a big zoo as also monkeys roaming around freely in residential colonies and near temples etc.). I will advise you to be careful, since they can get frightened or angry and hurt you.

I got up close to all kinds of monkeys, held them, fed them and played with them. It was a monkey park in Tenerife though, maybe too far for you... x
