If he's the one in trouble for the dog fighting thing... I hope he rots in jail!!!

He'll get a fine and community service, why anything more? No doubt the ill treatment of animals or any living thing is wrong. Dog fighting is a weekly event in many rural and urban areas and as many times I've seen dog fighting rings busted I've never seen the type of punishment for what are proposed for Vick.
What if theses critics really knew about what some players bankrolled drug kingpins, underground boxing, sexual orgys and even worst drug hits. A lot of these people are blinded by there surroundings, I wish these same people would take an interest in these child predators that get off on probation just to prey on our kids again or I would like to see some of these offended people in front of the WV court protesting the 6 sick individuals that imprisoned and tortured the young lady in Big Creek, West Virginia but we don't it was headlines yesterday and will be forgotten by tomorrow.
I feel this whole epidemic is more so Anti-Vick than save the dogs. I wish we could all come together on many more atrocities that plague our way of living, we the people would make this a better country and would not have to question if something is wrong or right.

He will probably only get 2 years max. Since a year in humans is about 7 in dogs, he should get 14 years. This includes electrocution, torture, and fighting other inmates in a pit. Of course having a huge man-raping Aryan dog lover as a cell mate would be an added bonus.

I am not in favor of animal abuse and I believe that Vick should be punished. The real problem I have with all of this is that Vick is going to be punished when medical doctors are murdering newborns everyday in this world and not being punished at all (except maybe their conscience).

I'm guessing 3 to 5 months. They say that he should get 8-12 months and pretty much for every day they are in jail they get half of that removed off their sentence for good behavior. So whatever they say on the news, cut it in half or a little more and you'll be about right on the money I think.

Hmmm. I don't remember him being found guilty in a court of law. So it is presumptuous of you to ask how long he will be locked up.

Remember this is America and you are presumed innocent until proved otherwise.

He needs to spend life in jail because of stupidity. He should have learned from his brother's mistakes. So now he pisses away millions of dollars.

1 year to 18 months. He doesn't have a criminal record so unless the judge is grandstanding, he won't give him the maximum.

I'd say odds are that he will not draw any jail time at all. Unthinkable for an American sports hero.
