Hi there. =)

While I agree in part with some of the other answers already given, my own position is like this:-
Whether or not "good luck" or "bad luck" exist or not, and whether or not things "happen for a reason" (though I love the idea of Karma, and live by it too), my recommendation would be to Change Your Focus. :]

I'm also a firm believer of "Mind over Matter". In that context, it's like saying we "make our own luck". If you continue to tell yourself (and your family) that you're all unlucky, then you will continue to believe it, and LIVE in THAT "reality" which you have (sort of) "created" for yourself.

Even if you wake up one day and say "Today I'm going to be Lucky!", if you entertain negative thoughts of bad luck or doubt, then you've ruined it. *grin*

First, let go of the idea of "your bad luck". You're FREE.
Second, plan a little more, with your family, before you set out to do something.. and if you feel you've planned well, you can be CONFIDENT that it's more likely to go WELL.
Third, focus on what's going RIGHT every time it does. You should start to see how much really IS going well. =)
(Catch yourself and STOP yourself, if you start thinking about what's WRONG... !STOP!.. Look for what's RIGHT.)

If your youngest child is with you, try this:
Do the "thumbs up" signal with them each time, and have them give it to you, especially if they notice something GOOD before you do.
This may sound a bit silly, but you CAN make it playful, and, heck, Life is for Living.. .so Have a bit of Fun, OK? 8^)

BEST OF LUCK TO YA!!
It can only get better from here on out -- BELIEVE IT!! :D

Hiy there, Wellas far as good luck and bad luck goes i dont belive in it, But i do belive in karma ''meaning'' what goes around comes around,Everytime i dont do something honest it hit's me in the face. so now that i try to do everything honest and right am on a good path. let me give you an example say you like this shirt at the mall and you can't aford to buy it, so you steal it, cool you got away with it, so you wear it you wash it, one day your gonna wash it again and you put it in with whites on acciddent and you bleach it, well thats your karma getting back to you, cause you stole it lol well thats the way i think anyways lol good luck!!

I'm not a big believer in luck. In my lifetime - I have had realy good things happen to me, and really bad things, whose to say if its good or bad.
My thing is this, I heard if you get struck by lightning, thats bad luck. NO!, I think if you survive that hit you have damn good luck, cause that **** could've killed you.

If anything else, drive better, eat better, and managa your finances better and you'll be fine.

Sometimes it feels like everything is conspiring against you but they really aren't. If we are looking to blame bad luck or thinking we are unlucky, then we find things to fit the theory.

Start thinking positive and you will find positive things happen!

probably has something to do with the fact that your blaming everything that goes wrong in your life on bad luck!!!!

Everything happens for a reason, its nothing to do with luck

Luck is the verbal embodiment of Karma or "for every action there is a reaction"

Why do you want to portray yourself as a "victim"?

I can never understand what makes people feel secure about adopting that position.

Do you like to get lots of sympathy?
