No election would be needed. It's likely he'd just stay on for reasons of "national security" and protecting the constitution after declaring a national catastrophe.

"President Bush has signed a directive granting extraordinary powers to the office of the president in the event of a declared national emergency, apparently without congressional approval or oversight."

But if he did have an election, his operatives have international experience in fixing elections.

Hey I didn't vote for him at either election and he got in. Many many people were opposed to the Iraq war and he still won in 04, remember he said he was going to stay the course even before he was re-elected.
Plus he won with with a higher percentage over kerry then he did over Gore.
It might not be a landslide. However if he could run again, him winning office again would not suprise me. I was shocked the last two time.

With the fact that the dems won this time around, because when Kerry ran the dems assumed the American people were smart enough to ignore all the slander, in particular, from the Swifties -- this time realizing that was a huge error. They took their gloves off and addressing each accusation from the republicans and their pac smear groups, thus won the last elections in ways that most could not imagine 6 months prior.

No, I do not think Bush would win, nor anyone of his ilk this time around. The dems are hopping mad that they have been lied to and taken advantage of for years and are taking no prisoners.

Thank you Howard Dean!

Watch out though, they will be back in a few years with a better smear machine and they will screw America again, I promise you that.

Peace

Jim

If the Constitution was changed so that a president could run for a third term, the person running against Bush would win by a landslide. Bush's approval rating is only 33%.

I would vote for him again. I voted for him in '04 on an absentee ballot from TQ Iraq. Along with the rest of the Marines.

Could be true. Never under estimate the Republicans, they will come out of the woodwork's if necessary and drive them self to the polls, wait in line, in heat, rain or snow. They do not have to be picked up on buses and provided with snacks and soda pop to vote.

I think he would, but only because there aren't any strong candidates from either party. In the Rep. primary, I would vote for Paul over him though.

I still would not vote for any of the loser democrats that are currently running for the office.

Of course. Just like he 'won' the last two times. But I think the elite are ready for a new puppet, as he has lost too much support for a credible 'win'.
