Hello everyone. I am a 22 year old male.
I started masterbating when i was around 16 or so. at first i wasn't masterbating frequently but it gradually started to increase. Now, i masterbate around once a day, sometimes twice a day and sometimes once every couple of days.

My question is, does this rate of masterbation reduce sperm count or effect the sperms i guess effect? meaning that if i get married will my masterbation habits now effect the chances of my wife becoming pregnant or in other words making me sterile?
I would like anyones input on this, especially older people who've been in the same situation or any doctors.
Thanks for you time and responses!!!

No, masterbating once or twice a day is no different than having sex once or twice a day, just not as much fun. Masterbation is not some strange act that causes some physical manifestation in your body-- you are ejaculating to manual stimulation via your hand versus manual stimulation by a vagina---some physical result.

Masturbation now won't cause a low sperm count later on when you get married.
Go ahead, enjoy it!

Don't worry, you replace your sperm all the time, all your life. When you ejaculate, your sperm count is only low until you build up more. It's not like you're using up finite quantity. Enjoy.

It's the best erotic stimulation after sexual intercourse. You learn to control the limits of your body and it calms us men down(I think it's stresses women). The sperm is infinite until the time it is written on your dna that you are too old to have sperm,at least an able one

BTW it's mastUrbation

masturbation does not affect sperm formation or their development, more frequent you ejaculate masurbtion or sex there decrease in sperm count, however this is purely temporary, there no permanant damage.

Masturbation will not make you sterile. I masturbated for twenty years then fathered two children and continued on for the next thirty years. Masturbation affects nothing but your well being.
