Why are American officials lying about the number of American soldier deaths in Iraq?

American officials lied about the number of deaths in the Vietnam war also. Why?

I don't beleive they lie about the number of American soldiers deaths. They are under too much scrutiny to get away with it. They may misrepresent the circumstance of deaths but the numbers they give are accurate. They have to be. Vietnam was a different scenario. Information traveled a lot slower and there were so many people that went missing in action to really know what the count was. Now a days, they keep track a whole lot better for accounting purposes if nothing else.

How do you know that American officials lied about the number of people who died in Iraq? Are you listening to the democratic propaganda 95% of which are lies? I was a democrat until a few months ago and after they started their lying campaigns and debate speeches I quit them in a hurry. I will not be part of a political party that is hurting the USA. They are the nastiest bunch of slimeballs that I have ever encountered in politics with Hillary and Obama as number one and two. Democrates thirty-forty years ago were not this treacherous.
