Sadly I do, and I wish I didn't. I have learned to control it and think more rationally as I gotten older though.

Jealousy is good only as far as I keep watching that I am not drowned in the waves. It gives me opportunity to keep check on myself , what is the power of self over emotions.

No. Jealousy is a very destructive emotion and it mostly destroys you.

When I had a boyfriend, we lived at opposite ends of the country because of his work and he would tell me about going out for drinks with the girls at the stables he worked at.

I remember telling Terry, one of the lads I worked with, and he made suggestions that the 'drinks' weren't exactly innocent. I trusted him and even had he been doing more, I couldn't prove nor prevent it.

I did point out that I was out on the town with a couple of men and Gary was fine with that.

"But .. we're GAY men."

"Yes, but he doesn't know that."

I used to, but not anymore.
Its just too much heart ache putting yourself through it. Jealousy is never attractive to other people either- especially love interests!

I have before. Since then, I've decided that jealousy is overrated.

Unfortunately yes. It hurts my relationships with others. However, on the flip side I use it as a tool to self improve, and strive to reach my full potential.
