They ask you to remove jewelry during x-rays because metal shows up as white on the picture.
The jewelry itself won't do any damage, but if there any x-rays done on the head, the earrings may get in the way and cover up possible tiny fractures.

No the earings would not hurt you but they could mess up the imaging. If the radiologist did not say anything about it, then it didn't do any harm. It would only mess up the image if the x-ray was of your head. No worries.

not if you don't want to have an x ray of ur head or jaw! they just tell you not to have any metal so there will not be the shadow of them in the x ray, not for any other reason

no it dosent hurt you if thats what you are asking. the reason they make you take off anything metal. is because it will mess the machine up.. it wont work right, they will let you keep on earrings if they are x raying like say your stomache.. if its far away from the area you are getting xrayed i mean.

No, metals just block the x-ray image so they can't see anything behind it.

no, it just blocks the image.. i have had xrays and mris done with my nipple rings in and my boobs havent fell off........yet
