well, the ones I have run into have a god-complex. They expect to be given a discount on anything and everything. They're the ones that signed up for it, not me. I have a job to do also. I also have a family to clothe and feed. I'm just trying to make money. Meanwhile, I pay their salaries with my taxes. The way I see it, they're already taking, I'm done giving. When I'm treated as a person and not as their servant, I'll change my attitude. Too much whining about the numbers of lives lost by celebrities, there's going to be casualties.
Someones gotta win. Someones gotta surrender. That's the way it goes.
Patriotism died along with Sadam. The bad guy is dead, there's nothing really to go after anymore. Its just a war drawn out into the 9th inning.
If FOX tv were to send Paris and Nicole to Iraq as a Simple Life show, I bet more citizens would give a rats patootie.

Recruiters belong in uniform, or perfect and identifiable outfits for the interest to hand - which includes militia workout kit, if at an athletic journey - on an analogous time as recruiting. Recruiting on an analogous time as in civilian outfits is usually a foul theory. it could depart the recruiter open to costs of irrelevant or unlawful recruiting practices. There are exceptions, yet i won't be in a position to think of of very many. In each and every occasion the place a recruiter makes a recruitment touch, they ought to continuously p.c. out themselves, no remember what they're donning. Frankly, while i became a recruiter, I *needed* people to make certain the uniform - that became the product i became merchandising, and there is few extra useful the type to sell your product than donning it proudly.

I have a twofold answer to this. First I think that there are more patriots than the dinosaur media wants us to believe and because of our generally conservative nature, we just don't bandy it about for everyone to see and say hey look at me and my patriotism. Secondly, I think that there are a number of those that believe that championing their individual rights and freedoms is more patriotic than looking after the greater good of the country.

The nation has to be "Under God" for that to work, and the war we are fighting(un declared war i might ad) is no way justified in the eyes of God by Christian or Islamic standards!
this is a war for OIL, Not Terrorism!

It should be noted that anyone who truly loves this country -- is going to truly love the men and women who serve it !! But, loving your country and the people who serve it -- does not automatically say that one HAS to approve of the government's use OF the men and women in uniform OR align themselves with the policies OF that government !!
The country itself and the government in power ARE two seperate entities !! Plain and simple !! And, for anyone to say that they are one and the same is to believe falsely !!
As a veteran, I served in a war that was not all that popular --- and people for some time were openly hard lined against both the government's policies AND us that served !! After some "hands on" experience with that little doodah -- I too learned that the government most definitely can be VERY wrong in the way it conducts it's business in such matters --- But, I also learned that the folks that are in uniform have NO leverage at all IN those policies and procedures and are LOCKED into performance of their duties whatever those duties are dictated to be !!!
This fact in and of itself gives rise to the consistant stating by people that --- they love and support (at heart) our troops -- but are against the war that they are involved in !!
And, this view-- that one who sees government actions as being wrong in such a matter as something UNAMERICAN --is simply Wrong !! For, to have an opinion counter to the status quo when it is a genuine at heart belief -- is one of the more AMERICAN things that can exist !!
The saddest of all associations with the troops and those who care deeply about them --- and, yet are against the way that they are being used --- is people who say that these people CAN NOT "support the troops" and not support what they are doing !! AND, people who say this, say that these patriots in uniform are dying FOR those people and their freedoms and rights --- when those that are against the actions of the government and the policies in play -- see the way that they are being utilized as cannon fodder for certain "American interests" that, to them boils down to those who have vested assets to be gained --- and more an American investment in blood for the benefit of other people who in a great deal of situations actually hate our eternal guts !!! And, in that view are extremely saddened FOR the troops at having what they have to deal with -- with no alternatives but to do as they are told !!!
So, I do wholeheartedly agree --- God Bless Our Troops
and at the same time -- Shame on a system that utilizes such excellence in the pursuit of political agendas and in the pursuit of certain gains that have nothing to do with the secuity and sovereignty of the nation whatsoever !!!!
