I know scientifically the earth is round like a sphere but Since I was a kid I have always looked at a map and thought it was flat. Even when I look at one today, I can't help but think, "Well what's on the other side?".

This may sound like a dumb question to some people but I am being very serious and am just thinking outside of the box.

Lol! No seriously though, I'm just questioning science. I mean, if I'm allowed to do so? Which I have that right too.

But I am just trying to understand The Flat Earth Society's point of view. Which is the reason for this question as well as my own thoughts.

Like, I have seen a standing globe before. I am educated and have gone to school in the United States.

Plus the bible says the earth is a circle. A circle is flat to my knowledge.

Just trying to figure things out. Please keep answering though.

As I think about it, I don't know if anyone ever has or not.... ☺
But most communications satellites are in polar (or near polar) orbits, and there are lots of flights which follow 'great circle' routes that are over the North Pole from LA and Hawaii to Europe.

You need to spend a few bucks and buy a globe (on a stand) for your desk ☺

EDIT: Thank you, Ken. I learn something new every day ☺

A British gentleman with the glorious cognomen of Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, OBE achieved this fairly recently.

Do yourself a favour, read less of the bible and more of articles that deal with truth.
