There are 7 of us in the group. I need a suggestion for a skit or play written in Greek Chorus format from which to get a scene to do. Thank you.

With the size of your group you cannot use a modern play with a chours character. You need a chours scene from a Greek Tragedy. So go get Oedipus or Agamemnon and pick one of the chours scenes and get your group together and learn how to speak it together. Once again I question the sense of the teacher. Of what practical purpose can this assignment be? No one does much if any Greek drama anymore. You should be learning about modern plays and how to do them. Sigh, the ineptitude of our public school teachers is pathetic. Don't tell your teach I said so. Youill get in trouble. Just laugh behind your hand. Doc

If you're looking for something classic, go for Lysistrata, it's nice and bawdy, thus the humor is accessible.

The play How I Learned To Drive by Paula Vogel has "chorus characters." It's fascinating, and if you are interested in drama you should read it anyway.

If you need a dramatic scene, Jean Anouilh's version of "Antigone" has a chorus role in more modern language.
