Well if he doesn't work he don't have income but here he is getting ssi and this is what you have to do. Call the child support department and tell them that your baby dad is getting ssi and you wanted him to assist you in raising up your kids. Secondly call the ssi and tell then that he as kids and ssi have forms that you have to fill out in order for you to draw income from his ssi. Surely he will get his money and all his kids will get money to if they under 18 years. Actually to draw money from ssi it doesn't hurt him since he don't pay for it but the gov. See how much each of your kids will qualify to draw from there dad ssi. Good luck

Is he receiving SSI or SSDI? If he is permanently disabled and is drawing SSDI your children are entitled to money from the government every month. Find out what his benefit is, exactly, and call the Social Security office in your area. They should be a ble to assist you. Generally adults who file are awarded SSDI not SSI.

Good Luck
