id say make the best of it and get everything in writing from your recuiter......i did 6 years in the navy and it made a big diference in my life....for the better....

don't be afraid to step forward whilst asked for human beings to attempt something first in practise. Be the 1st out the door for formation, be the 1st to stand to interest. don't be a shrinking violet. don't be afraid to take a huge gamble jointly as gaining expertise of. each and everything you do would be monitored and graded against all of us else. If all of us gets a ninety 8 on a try to additionally you get a ninety two (eighty being passing) you would be final. each and everything is a contest. faculties, rank, assignments are given first to those that scored nicely, sloppy seconds to something. Yell louder, help the others on your unit, lend a helping hand even once you sense like a one-armed paperhanger in a windstorm. are not getting flustered, The DI's are there to place you decrease than tension to work out the way you will react. the only element you will get adequate of is food and exercising. each and everything else would be at a top rate. in case you screw up, then so be it. you would be graded as lots on how nicely you cope with failure and what you learn out of your blunders. sturdy good fortune.

Are you drunk!? I'm in the Aussie Navy mate and it's all minimum manned with alcohol restrictions and all this other god-awful stuff (like rules and regulations!). Join the Airforce! Remember, Army sleep under the stars, Navy sail by the stars, Airforce choose a hotel by the stars!!! True fact!
