Yep, I have before. It hurt some feelings. Even have one of my friends become very distant with me. But I had to be honest. I felt like I wasn't a good enough friend not telling her the truth anyway. So it was entirely necessary to tell her how I felt about the guys she was dating. I know it hurts people at times and sometimes you can't go back once you have told the truth. But its usually more important to tell someone how you really feel than holding it in forever and letting it eat away at you. Truth doesn't always set you free, but it does clear the air.

What sucks is I have told the truth and it blew up in my face. The truth is not always the cure. Woman preach that but when we said we did this or that they hold it over our head for a lifetime. That's why guys lie so much. If I said my ex called and I never responded I'm lying. If I never say anything ( I did not call her back) we have no problems. Woman need to get themselves in check on this issue. If you want us to tell the truth than respect us for doing so and don't throw it in ou face every chance you get.

Ask yourself the relative consequences and benefits of telling the truth and your motive behind telling the truth. If your motive is primarily to unburden your conscience and telling the truth will hurt someone, I'd avoid it. If, on the other hand, supressing the truth will hurt someone and your motive is to prevent this hurt, I'd definitely come clean.

Yes! I tend to forget that being good friends with someone, means that you'll have to say things to them that will hurt their feelings, and sometimes you have to*, in order to open their eyes out to what they are doing wrong etc. I'm always afraid that I'll say something negative and it'll change everything, but for the worse. So, that is why I try to evaluate the situation and try to decide if it's worth ruining a friendship, depending on the situation. I try to be tactful though.

Yes because I wouldn't want to be lied to especially if a guy didn't like me. That's a pet peeve of mine to be lied to I tend to have a different response when you tell me the truth before my feelings really get into who I like and then to find out you don't like men I turn into a mad women so just be honest in the 1st place in the end it will save you from a mad, crazy, and heartbroken woman!!!

Every body knows the fundamental truth of ones life. That is, every one who has taken birth on this universe,one day one has to die. This we refer as fundamental truth as every one knows about it. Accordingly, if I or anyone tell about to any one about the said fundamental truth then it can be possible that the Powerful persons on our universe can be diverted towards on other sides.
