so theres this guy that i like and im friends with him, but i dont know him that well i mean we talk about really personal things like texting each other and online but we dont get to hangout that much at school or anything.
anyways so the other day i decided to be brave and tell him i like him.
so this is exactly what i said...
"i know i dont know you that well but i think i have a little thing for you and i want to get to know you better. you know when i told you that im sure that there are alot of girls interested in you? well im one of those girls. "
and he said..
"AWWW
thats sweet!
im flattered! "
what the hell is that supposed to mean?
do i stand a chance.
should i get to know him better?
did he just say that to be nice?
lol
im confused.

i did the same with my guy and we've been together 4 years now and are getting married next year. i think guys are just a little bit intimidated by a girl who speaks her mind, and he probably just didn't know what to say at the time. He did say he was flattered so that is a good thing :)

That answer was like a pat on the head to a little child. Move on. If he's really interested, he'll come around. Never wait around hoping. Have fun instead of grieving. It's the best thing you can do for yourself.

It means he is not interested in you. You don't have a chance.
He is just saying that to be nice to you, and the nicest way to reject someone who pours her heart out. He doesn't want you in that way. He will not ask you out. It was never meant to be. Believe me, a man knows what he wants. In this case, he obviously doesn't want you.
Move on, there is plenty of fish in the sea. So what, this didn't work out. Now you know what to say to any man that you are not interested. "AWWW, that's sweet, I'm flattered!" =)

i like this guy at school and he is really nice to me but when he's near his friends he won't talk to me!
im s suprised that u would just walk up and tell him!
i would never do that!!!!!!
so..... back to the question
i would try and get to know him but don't try to get to close
or he might break your heart!
