Each team usually has a secrurity group on the field to monitor the game. They are all aware of the possibilty of stealing, so in this case, the opposing team's on field security found that NE employee filming the defensice coordinator.

It was Mangini,
Belichick tought him the Belichick way and that is to win at all costs.
Mangini is a good student and he ratted out the Patriots to win at all costs. Belichick might be mad but I bet he is proud of his student!

He wasn't the one personally videotaping the signals, the patriots had a cameraman working for them who had an on field camera filming the Jets coaching staff and filming their signals... They consficated the camera after the game

ESPN reported something along the line that it was known to have happened previously and the last time they tried to bust the cameraman, he had already dropped off the tape. They set him up this time, got him while he still had the film, and took it to NFL security.

Uh yeah...It was Eric Mangini...the little weasel coach of the Jets who wouldn't be a Head Coach if it wasn't for the Yoda of NFL coaches, the hooded one...and it was an assistant, not Belichick himself, that had a video camera..
