I have more than one favorite Billy Bob Thornton movie and they are listed from most favorite to least favorite starting with number one:
1.) "Sling Blade"
2.) "Bandits"
3.) "Monster's Ball"
4.) "Armageddon"
5.) "Pushing Tin"
6.) "Waking Up in Reno"
In my opinion, Billy Bob Thornton is one of those actors who is a lot more talented than he gets credit for, as well as being highly underrated because he doesn't look too attractive like Brad Pitt. Bottom line, Billy Bob is a bad a s s.

Agreeing with puzzled, Billy Bob was great in Sling blade. I don't think any other actor could have played the role of Karl. Aside from the great role he also wrote and directed this one. It is truly "his" movie

In my opinion Thorton's best character was the bully in Tombstone. The scene he was in was very breif, but he was great. He was also very good in Monster's Ball. I've hated everything else he was in. Bad Santa is the worst movie of all time surpassing Orca and Showgirls.

By far Sling Blade, as it is one of the greatest performances of all time. For a funny choice, it's definitely Waking Up In Reno.
