I have a friend who has a great relationship with a lady about 5 hours away. They are both over 50, have been divorced for a long time and see each other about every other weekend. They also take several long weekend and a couple long trips together a year. In fact, they met on a tour bus. It seems to work very well for both. That's probably not as long distance as you mean, but it's my only reference. peace

Honestly, they require A LOT of trust and commitment. If you have that, then they can work. But most long term relationships dont work out. sorry.

I think it can work. After a time the two involved usually find a way to be together.

I know definitely won't work for me.
I need $ex,hugs,cuddles,kisses and a peace of mind.
I would not want to wonder and worry.
If I really loved him I would move to where he is,or else no long distant relationship for me.

For some, yes... for most, no. Its not an easy thing...it depends on the couple and how long theyre willing to wait for each other. If theyre never going to be together, then NO, it will never work.*

Yes i think they can if the couple is really in love...a long distance relationship will definitely test that. haha It's not for everyone.....and it's alot of work.

yes it works best when they have been dating non-long distance first. the longer they were to together, the better their odds of success
