Barry Goldwater, and Arizona?

Question

I need help finding information on Barry Goldwater, and things he did for Arizona, but am having trouble finding much. I went on wikipedia, and I only have about a page, I really just need about a half a page more of info. So if u can help, please do. Thank u! :)

Thats what I've heard to, and I think it can be true. For now though I'm desperate, and even if I don't get full points I'd rather get some, and turn in what I have. Thank u for your answer. :D

2 things to be aware of in no particular order:

He had a son with the same name, so, make sure you are talking about the correct person. I am assuming you are writing about Sen. Barry Goldwater, Sr.(AZ) and not his son, Former Congressman Barry Goldwater, Jr. (CA).

Wikipedia is NOT considered a good source by most educators these days. I am a middle school teacher and it not one used by my students. It is a good starting point, if you know enough on a topic to recognize when someone has erred. Using Wikipedia as the main source for any paper is unwise.

Here's an interesting aside . During his presidential run in 1964, a soft drink came out with the atomic numbers for gold and water, on the label ( AU H2O). The soda was yellow colored. Within a month or so of his losing his bid, the pop became what it is today, Mountain Dew. So his legacy is the soda that was made to promote him for president. The original bottles had a "Hill-Billy" with a Kentucky rifle on the bottle and the expression was ' Yahoo... Mountain Dew"
