I have a laptop connected to wired lan internet connection
i want to create an adhoc wifi network and connect to my mobile device to it inorder to share the connection

Microsoft has a full step by step for setting up Internet Connection Sharing with an Ad-Hoc network. It is a little involved so rather than list all of it here the link below takes you to the DOC file which you can download and follow. Its written for XP but is similar in Vista.

My bad. I complete misread this. My original answer was awful. I somehow thought it was a laptop you where trying to get on your network wirelessly. lol.

this is pretty easy to set up. What you need to do is set up your wireless connection in windows to search for all types of connections. While I have not connected to a nokia I used it to connect my psp to my laptop.

When you set up your wireles Go to advanced. Make sure the protocal is set to auto and the types is all. It should be able to pick up the adhoc connection with your nokia.

you have to first by a wifi router like of linksys,connect it with your wired lan istead osf laptop,n then u are ready to use it wirelessly all around your workplace.through this you can connect more than 10 laptops or wifi enabled phones
