It keeps repeatedly putting up boxes that say:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

And yadda yadda yadda.

When I click on the send error report or don't send, it shuts down several windows.
This pc used to not do this, and I used to be able to have many different windows open (like one to the weather, one to yahoo mail, one or more to yahoo answers, one to a music site, and a few each to different searches, etc you get the idea). It happens most often with yahoo answers, youtube, and some other things.
But it does not seem to be interferring with the pc function when I just slide the box, if I can get this posted, because there's one that just popped up (how I was able to tell what it said).
Another box said something else, I think it had to do with a plug-in or download, but I don't know what it was.

Sounds like you have some spyware lurking around.

You need to scan with spyware programs.
Download, install and run the updates for the following:

Adware
http://www.download.com/3001-8022_4-10731194.html

SuperAntispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

Then, DISCONNECT from internet.

*Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet Options and delete all browsing history (cookies, temporary internet files etc). Check the box, Also delete files and settigns stored by add-ons.

*Go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\temp
Delete all files. (for each user)

*Delete all in recycle bin

*Next, boot up in safe mode (Tap the F8 key every few seconds as the system boots up until the screen Saying Safe Mode option appears.).

*Then run above spyware programs.

I would also download and install (and configure tools>options>privacy tab to clear everything, plus other things)
Firefox, its less vulnerable than IE.

I used to consider it was once the wi-fi modem I had. Because, there might be occasions while I would not be equipped to do any factor on-line, and the shortcut on my computing device might say I have an Excellent Connection. Actually, what it supposed was once, I have a satisfactory connection to my wi-fi modem and the bars, within the Wireless Network Connection field, might be all complete and inexperienced! The wi-fi track application might say "You are connect with the modem, however now not related to Internet" or whatever like that. It's occurred to me so regularly, I do not consider you'll be able to prevent it. It continuously comes again. There's a well hazard, it is not your desktops. Go Figure!
