for those of you, incapable of detecting sarcasm, i think the purpose of this question is to call attention to the fact that NONE of those issues have been addressed by bush. where they not significant enough for the bush presidency.
& what about his core? these are the issues that seemed so important to them. yet they aren't calling him on his inattention? oh -- is it because they've been so distracted by the iraq war as well?

Your living in a world all your own. Abortion has not been 'completely' eradicated. There never has been any government funds spent on abortion whatsoever. Not sure what your definition of filth is but there is still plenty of filth on tv unless you are watching TVLand and only seeing reruns of shows that have not been produced since the middle 70's.
but this is America...and you are entitled to live in your own little dream world. Have a happy day!

Okay George(I'm thinking that you are President Bush or a member of his family), first of all, Bush has lied so many times to the American people.
Secondly, he has no economic plan for the U.S.
Thirdly, he is absolutely the worst Presidential speaker in history
Fourth, his decision to spy on all Americans, which is against American law, he should be arrested and imprisoned.
Fifth, as for filth on your television screen, as an American, you most likely have a thing called a "remote control" that will allow you to CHANGE the channel, instead of inflicted what you call good programming on the rest of the population.
Sixth, even the bible says that "if thine eyes offend thee, pluck them out" - which in your case wouldn't help, on the other hand, maybe a lobotomy would be the correct approach for you

If anyone would have said after 911 that afghanistan and Iraq would be holding free elections, Hussein would be put on trial by his own country and executed, we would have one of the best economies in years according to every economic indicators out there, N Korea would agree to end its nuclear programs, middle eastern nations like pakistan would be cooperating and more friendly to the US than before, and that we wouldnt be attacked again in the 6 years after 911 they would have looked at you like you were absolutely insane. And yet here we are. If Iraq succeeds in becoming a free democratic friendly to the US nation within the next several years, Bush will go down in history as a very succesful president no matter what the Bush haters say. If you look at the facts and not the emotions, because history tends to take out the emotions, you will see a president that actually succeeded in several areas to do things most people would have thought would never happen after 911.

Filth on television has been "severely cracked down upon and annihilaed?" I don't think so...it's the worst it has ever been. where the f...k are the censors? our economy sucks...our health care system still sucks...gas is at an all time high....Bush and his co-horts are mindless, greedy, uncaring morons....and most likely, the next President will be just as bad.

Bush will go down in history as a very smart man with high standards "But" as a President who made some terrible mistakes. (Iraq: No WMD....No Threat to the USA..Etc...Etc..) Bush will not and can not admit he makes mistakes. Other than that he's an outstanding President.

Bush and the Republicans do NOT care about eradicating abortion. If they did, why didn't they try and do so when they had control of the White House and both Houses of Congress. They don't want to eradicate it. The need it to get votes.

As I recall, Bush is on the opposite side of the suicide bombers who are killing the babies in Iraq.
I think there is a lot more great things Bush will be remembered for than what you mentioned, but I think it will not be realized until after he leaves office because of the political race that is currently happening.
