I need a first car, I only plan on driving it for a year or so then i'll finance a newer one..but I was looking at a 1999 Chevy Malibu with 136,000 miles on it..

I read some things that said Malibus are really bad cars, but some also said that they will last if they are maintained well..

So idk? Help. Thanks.

they can be good cars, V6 models had intake manifold gasket problems, other than that nothing major, the main thing with these cars is that they lost their value fast, sometimes 50% within two years
