Oh yeah I also remember when there were no PC's DVD players Cellphones or Ipod's too. And how long did jify pop take not long as I reacall. thanks for mentioning it though I haven't had any Jiffy Pop in literally ages. Now I will have to run out and buy some!

I remember when there was no Jiffy pop! I still like to make my popcorn the old fashioned way- heat the oil in the pan, add the kernels, shake it around while it is popping, pour in the melted butter and some salt- it still tastes the best even if it takes a little longer.

wow, seems so long ago..... i remember when i was little my dad would make it in a huge pot. fresh butter, salt... mmmmm... and kool-aid too...lol......
now i have made it a few times for my kids, and they will request that over microwave stuff....
i also loved having an air popper,, no oil, heat up some butter and good to go.....
