about 3 years ago i joined band and bought myself a brand new alto saxaphone for about$1,500......now that im older im interested in getting a guitar which im getting on saturday. my problem is that my dad wants to go to a small music store and trade it for a guitar and i'd like to go sell it then go to guitar center and get a good one for cheap.....so basicly my question is
where can i go to sell my sax around the twin city area. (i live In Turtle Lake WI. so any place around there would work to)

Music go round.....they have several locations in the Twin Cities area & you might find your guitar there but if you go to the Roseville, MN location & can't find the guitar you like, Guitar Center is about 3 miles from there!!! Good Luck!!

I think you'd get a better price off of ebay than the average pawn shop or music store. Go right to the buyer. At least my boss sold his kids starter instruments there and he seemed pretty happy with money he got.

You aren't going to get anywhere near what you think its worth. The original purchase price has nothing to do with what its worth now. I agree with you dad, go trade it in.
