He was actually the FOURTH musketeer. The original three were Athos, Porthos, and Aramis.
And it's D'Artagnan.
Comedian James P. Connolly refers to one of his audience members by that name during one of his routines because he thinks the guy's real name isn't cool enough (I think it was "Auggie" or something).
