how does it feel to be maced(sp?) or tasered by the cops.

I have watched the demonstrations (my cousin in a cop) and apparently the pepper spray can burn your eyes, nose and mouth to the point where you're puking. You can stay on your feet but you can't see where you're going or where the others are, so most people stand still when they get peppered. Taser, on the other hand, drops you like a bag of wet cement. You don't feel it for a couple seconds and then it streaks thru like a kick in the crotch. After a minute or two, it's gone and you can move again, but you really don't want to.

I once saw a guy get pepper sprayed. I was watching these guys and they got into a fight. It was fierce. The cops came and I stopped paying attention. About five minutes later I looked outside and both of the guys were crying, their faces were deep red and they were drooling and snot was hanging off their faces. One time I was at a friends house and he sprayed a little bit of pepper spray in the house and no one could stand it, we all had to go outside. I've seen a guy tasered on TV and it will F you up. There is also an outside chance you could die. You will say or do whatever the tasererer wants you to say or do, I'll put it that way.

Mase is a horrible pain especially if it hits you direclty in your open eyes it burns and feels like your eyes are on fire. Even using water makes it burn more the affect stays for about a half hour, but you have to be careful because if it gets in your hair when your showering and washing off the affects can start all over again. I have talked to acouple of officers about whats worse mase or a tazar and most say mase because the tazar ones they stop hitting you w/ the electric charge you feel ok jsut a little shaky, but the mase stays w/ you. Based on personal experience, which I have had been peppersprayed, and shot with a pepperball. Only because of the field of work I am in.
Pepperspray from personal experience is like getting sprayed in the face with water for 1 second then your face is on fire and burning like crazy, you can't open your eyes because your eyelids are literally stuck closed and when you do open them, your eyes burn like heck. You have to drown your face every now and then with water to relieve the burning sensation.
Pepperball is similar, the only difference is that you get shot with a ball of pepper and it explodes into dust particles and you inhale the pepper which is not very good tasting, but the sensation does not last as long as getting hit with pepperspray, because pepperball is used to initailly scare you into thinking you are getting shot, but does the job as to stopping you from going anywhere.

I didnt get tasered by cops, but i would explain it as suddenly having no control over your body for a few seconds. Kinda weird.

based on police and military description:
Being tasered is painful- but not permanent.
Like a bad electric shock ( because it is) you will feel pain, and you sort of collapse, as you loose control of nerves and muscles.
Mace - makes you eyes burn and water terrible. It may also burn on the skin. Can induce coughing, severe enough for possible death in an asthmatic.

Tasers can make you bust a move for 5 seconds, but really hurts
Spray makes me cry to even think about it..very breath taking..

Bad. I don't know about taser, but when I was in basic training in the Army (in 1971), they had something called the gas chamber. We had to remove our gas masks in a room full of tear gas. It makes your skin burn everywhere, your eyes burn beyond description, and it feels like you're breathing fire!

I really couldn't tell you because I have never experienced it nor do I hope to ever experience it. It must not be a very good experience if it's meant to deter unwanted or unacceptable behavior.

Pepper spray sucks, your eyes burn and snot runs out of your nose for an hour.
