not only is it possible but it's been done with great success. the power to weight ratio of this combination is unbelievable. a 13b rew twin turbo engine has a huge aftermarket following for performance parts and accessories. anything is possible with the proper research and planning. hope this helps you out. good luck if you decide to tackle this challenge.

I have seen 12A and 13B on Toyota Corollas, Suzuki Samurai, Old VW Bug. The engine is compact enough to fit on any car. I was wondering on a Miata with a Rotary Engine, it will be a blast to drive.
Mazda made the Rotary Pick Up Truck for 3 years. 74 to 77 I had the 75 model. It was a Ford Courier with a RX3 steering wheel and dash board on a tiny truck. It was a blast to drive with the 13B that came with and some Racing Beat components on it. Even the RX3 and 4 Rotary Waggon...
Oh man! Those were the days! :)

Rotary engines have been put in Miata's but it's a pain in the butt and quite frankly, ruins the inherent nature of the car. Mazda was very explicit when they designed the MX-5/Miata that a Rotary was not an appropriate engine for it.
