Ok, Eid is in a month and I want to plan on what I should get. Eid is the end of fasting so we get great presents. I have a Wii, but I want a PS3 OR A FLAT screen for my room, or should I tell my dad to give my $500 and ill save from there.

How about asking your parent to HELP you establish a fund for your FUTURE .. College, Additional Schooling, for the Eventual Purchase of a HOME of your own, etc ...

Because (take it from the personal experience of this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree who was a Long Term Single Parent to her two Disabled Children) ...

THINGS are just that -- THINGS ... empty, devoid of feelings and emotions, a TEMPORARY phase for a moment's pleasure .. and not going to be able to sustain your dreams, your goals, your path in life.

There is always the LATEST gadget just around the corner ... but the value (for example) of a College Education LASTS a LIFETIME (and believe me, I am so HAPPY I sacrificed early in MY LIFE to pay my own way through College and obtain my degrees ... otherwise, I could NOT have been able to provide for MY Disabled Children after that short disaster of a marriage (to an abusive and violent sociopath) the way that I DID ... with FULL Benefits (including Health Insurance)).

id go for the $500. you can decide later. besides, when you get a PS3, something new and better will come out like the x-box 180. then your gonna want one of those. wait till ebay gets a stock of them

If you don't have an HD tv don't get a PS3, so go for the flat screen.
