I'll join the rest:
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
It's science fiction, but it's horrific sci fi. The sets are remarkable, based on things you would see at a circus. There's even killer popcorn!

It
This TV miniseries based on Stephen King's novel is one of the best King-based films I've seen. This is SF/horror, too, because the clown visage (Pennywise) is worn by an alien. I think the special effects are remarkable, not at all what you would expect in a TV production.

I haven't seen it, but I just came across "Dead Clowns" during a search. Hmmm... I hadn't heard of it, but I'd probably watch it once.

I can't say anything about this one either: "Fear of Clowns".

Ooh! II found another one titled "Killjoy" (2000)!

EDIT: I see that "Funhouse" is listed, but the "monster" wears a Frankenstein's Monster mask, not a clown mask. I don't recall an evil clown in this one, but it's been awhile since I've seen it.

Can't beat "It" based on Stephen King's book....but aside from that movie, I saw something weird called "Shakes the Clown"....not sure it fits into the "horror" genre, but it was disturbing for me.
